As we continues to grow we continue to seek top salespeople who are looking for an opportunity to join our team as a Business Technology Consultant. The individual in this role is responsible for pursuing new prospects and selling CBAOS services to all businesses across Canada. The primary target markets comprise companies with 10-200 employees in all industries. This individual is also responsible for identifying, prospecting, presenting, proposing and closing our offering to C- level executives.

University degree with 3-5 years related (B2B) work experience. (Preferred, not mandatory)

Agency experience in branding/advertising/marketing/consulting and/or business development (Nice to have).

Experience in business development/CRM programs (e.g. SalesForce, Sharpspring, Hubspot etc.) preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and able to integrate with Google Docs.

Team player with strong attention to detail.

DESCRIPTION:

The primary role of the Business Technology Consultant is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. Our Business Technology Consultant introduces our services to small businesses and large enterprises across Canada.

Our BTC defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Work with the internal team to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. To achieve this, you need to find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prospect for new business by tapping into new leads generated by the company or via cold calling and various professional networking.

Sell our core services to C-level executives at prospective small businesses by quantifying Canadian Automation & Business Solutions benefits and value proposition

Utilize data to position products and involve the prospective customer in determining how various capabilities, products, and services impact not only their P&L but also their ability to efficiently run their organization

Write proposals, gain appropriate approvals, and present approved proposals to prospective clients

Complete all administrative tasks and duties in a timely manner.

Stay current with all company products, services, technologies & digital marketing strategies.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Previous experience with developing own leads and prospecting for brand new business.

Prior experience selling in one of the following industries is a plus: Websites, Digital Marketing, Advertisement or Software.

Experience making Technology connections in the local market.

Knows the principles of business development.

Proven knowledge of the Information Technology industry.

Excellent know-how of Internet, Mobile Phone Applications, and MS-Office.

Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Exceptional work ethic. Uses time productively, maximizes efficiency, and meets challenging work goals.

Demonstrates persistence overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills and achieve goals.

Sales ability, a strong understanding and knowledge of Digital Marketing and computer skills are a must.
